NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY, 2022March 05, 2022National Science Day is celebrated every year on 28 February to mark the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by Sir C.V. Raman on 28 February 1928.It was this discovery that got Sir C.V. Raman a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930.The theme of National Science Day 2022 is "Integrated approach in science and technology for a sustainable future". We the students of SVMCTE, Vendar decided to conduct the national science day along with the inauguration of science club and maths club of first year students.Our principal respected Lalamani miss delivered the presidential address. Sri Lekshmi krishna miss inaugurated the programme. Then there was the publication of science magazine. First year students initiated to conduct a quiz programme based on the power point presentations. It was a nice session. Shilpa from commerse department became the winner. Then there were exhibitions with lots of amusing facts. Afternoon session was a product making from waste or raw materials. There were prize for the best product.
